General
The Owner has been thoroughly involved into the building
process of LATINOU and has followed and even leaded the project
from the very first handmade drawings to the delivery. He had
chartered extensively before getting into this new built
project and had therefore a great technical knowledge about
superyachts, allowing efficient and constructive discussions
with the Benetti shipyard and especially with Antonio Pozzi,
LATINOU's Project Manager.
The decoration theme of LATINOU is contemporary art deco.
The objective of the Owner and Mauro Izzo, the interior
decorator of the shipyard, was to create a special and fine
atmosphere that would evocate the ambiance and grandeur of the
TRANSATLANTIC ocean liners from the 1920s and the 1930s
(Normandie, Queen Elisabeth, France, Rex), but without going
too deep into details though, so as to be able to combine this
kind of decoration with a modern touch. A wide range of typical
materials has been used, such as stainless steel, fine leather,
engraved glass and shagreen better known as Galuchat (ray
skin).

Accommodations
Master
Stateroom
Located on the front part of
the Main Deck, the full beam Master
Cabin is provided with much natural
light thanks to two sliding doors
giving access to balconies fitted
with armchairs and a table on both
port and starboard sides, allowing
the Owner to choose on which side of
the boat he wants to be, whatever the
position of the sun or the view he
wants to have. Those balconies are
one of the most desirable parts of
the boat as they allow being in
contact with the sea while at anchor,
still with comfort and
safety. The bedroom itself is fitted
with a TV plasma 42'' (system with
CD/DVD and radio) and has access to
two good sized dressings on each side
of the bathroom. This layout allows
the Owner and his wife to have their
own separate dressing and own access
to the full beam elegant bathroom.
This latter is fully equipped with
one basin on each side of the
bath/Jacuzzi located right under a
green lighted art deco engraved
glass, one large massage/Jacuzzi
shower, one vanity table and separate
toilets/bidet. In those toilets is
located the escape hatch (MCA
compliant) for the Owner's
cabin. Between the Foyer and the
Owner's Cabin is located the Owner's
office, with a beautiful
leather/lacquered Makassar ebony wood
desk and armchairs. The office is
fitted with internet/computer
connection and provides lots of
stylish storages, including book
storage. Huge portholes provide a
fantastic sea
view.
VIP
Cabin
Due to its location on the
starboard side of the Upper Deck and
its huge windows, this cabin has an
amazing view on the sea, creating a
real feeling of space and luxury.
Here again, there are wooden
furniture, such as a Makassar ebony
desk with armchair, topped with
Galuchat.
As all the other cabins,
linens are made with Egyptian cotton
of the finest quality.
The huge en-suite bathroom
receives plenty of natural light and
is equipped with double sink and
shower.
Guests
Cabins
The Lower Deck provides 4
double cabins: three with a double
bed and one with twin single beds.
Each cabin has its own en-suite
bathroom and is widely illuminated by
natural light thanks to oval
portholes.
All cabins' decoration is in
the same spirit throughout the boat,
with thick smooth beige carpet and
cherry wood furniture. All of them
are fitted with a flat screen TV that
hides behind an electrically operated
rise and fall mirror when not
used.
The two largest Guest Cabins
are located amidships. They are
strictly identical and symmetrical,
with nice sea view, desk and sofa,
walk-in wardrobe and bathrooms, plus
a little hidden storage that allows
to have always at hand some bottles
of water or any other useful
items. The third one, with two
single beds, is perfectly sized to
comfortably welcome children or
friends. The fourth one is equipped
with two single beds plus a Pullman
bed, making this cabin a perfect
place for three
children.
Main
Saloon
The automatic sliding doors
give access to the main saloon where
we first find a bar area with a table
and two very comfortable armchairs.
The floor is beautifully laid with
engraved teak and can definitely be
used as a dance floor area, using the
vicinity of the bar for
refreshments.
Two steps lead down to the
Main Saloon itself with sofas and
armchairs seating 12 guests
comfortably. The contemporary art
deco provides a maritime look and
feel to the interior. The beige
carpet, associated with beige and red
furniture, creates a soft atmosphere
warmly heated by the wooden
furniture, topped with Galuchat, and
smartly displayed indirect lighting.
Huge rectangular windows on both
sides provide the saloon with plenty
of natural
light. The rise and fall TV plasma
42'' (system with CD/DVD and radio)
is incorporated in the sculptural
wooden furniture separating the
saloon and the dining
room.
Dining
Room
The dining room welcomes 12
guests around two rectangular
engraved wood tables that can be
assembled to create a large square
formal dining area. The mirror
ceiling and the huge backlit glass
feature made by Livornese craftsmen
enhance the art deco theme and
provide this dining area with an
exquisite feeling of
refinement.
Aft
Deck
The spacious aft deck
provides a large al fresco sofa for 8
and two low tables for informal
cocktails. There is an access on the
starboard side to the staircase
leading to the garage and the
swimming platform (Beach
Club). Another staircase, hidden on
the starboard sidewalk, leads to the
Upper Deck.
Foyer
The Main Deck foyer is
situated to starboard between the
Dining Room and the Owner's office.
It includes a day head and access to
the sweeping staircase that
definitely evocates the grand
staircase on the old transatlantic
passenger liners. The glass elevator
that serves all five decks from the
beauty salon room up to the Sun Deck
is the real centrepiece of the
vessel.
Upper Deck
Saloon
The saloon is located
further aft. It can easily welcome
all the guests who will enjoy a
fantastic sea view whether they are
seating on the sofa watching the
horizontally sliding flat screen TV,
armchairs or around the game table or
even at the
bar.
Sliding doors
give access to the outside deck where
the formal oval table can easily
welcome 12 guests for al fresco
dining. This place is really lovely
to enjoy lunch and diner even when
sailing, as the side glass
protection, associated with white
curtains, allows to be fully
protected from the wind and provides
a full privacy when anchored on port.
There are also sofas and low tables
to enjoy the view from this part of
the boat, either at anchorage or when
running.

Accommodations
(cont.)
Wheelhouse Fully equipped with
navigation and communication units
adapted to long range cruising, the
wheelhouse, located on the Upper
Deck, is purposefully lined in non
reflective dark-coloured leather.
This is not a simple wheelhouse: it
is a thoroughly thought-out
wheelhouse inspired by transatlantic
liners and designed to be fully
adapted for a commercial use. The
main helm console for instance is
fully surroundable, for easy
electronics access and
maintenance. What is
striking from the wheelhouse is the
silence while underway. Main engines
and generators are just inaudible.
This, added to the predominant
position in front of the boat and the
absolute stability, provides a
feeling of perfect weightlessness
when going through the
waves.
Sun
Deck It can be accessed from the
Upper Deck or via the lift and even
through an independent staircase for
the crew coming from the Upper Deck
pantry. This is truly the most
enjoyable part of the boat. When
standing on the elevated aft part of
the deck and looking toward the
front, the perspective is quite
impressive with its length of
20m. The Sun Deck is totally
dedicated to the sun and is fitted
with all equipments to spend great
time outside: sport machines, beach
chairs, shower, Tepanyaki (Japanese
grill). On the front part is located
the lift cabin, surrounded by a huge
sun bed and a bench facing the front
of the boat, providing here an
amazing position to enjoy the front
view
underway. The large-sized Jacuzzi
faces the outside galley and,
protected from the sun by the radar
arch, is located a large round table
surrounded by chairs and
sofa. Further aft is located a
huge sun tan area that can easily
welcome four beach chairs as well as
low tables. This place is also
totally ideal for a cocktail party as
it provides enough room to welcome an
orchestra for
instance.
Galley Ideally located next to the
dining room and with direct access to
both main and upper pantry, the
Galley is elegant, using the same
quality finish as the interior art
deco. Steam oven, cook top,
microwave, normal oven equip this
area, as well as a lift from the
fridge/freezer
room. The pantry allows separating
the Galley from the Dining Room and
provides access to the Upper Deck and
the port sideway. This place is
equipped with coffee machine and
dumbwaiter to the Upper Deck
pantry.
Crew
Accommodation The front part of the Lower
Deck is dedicated to crew. The crew
mess takes place next to the crew
galley and has direct access to
staircases for discrete and efficient
crew circulation on board. The sofa
and tables are largely sized in order
to provide very good living
conditions for the crew. The
fridge/freezer room on the Under
Lower Deck is accessible with a
staircase and heavy loads can be
lifted to the Lower Deck thanks to
the lift running from there to the
Main Deck
Galley. Further on the bow are
located 5 cabins with bunk beds and
en-suite bathrooms. There is a MCA
compliant escape
hatch.
On the Under
Lower Deck is located the wide
6th crew cabin that which
will very comfortably accommodate two
crew. On the front part is the
laundry, housing 3 washers, 3 driers
and 1 roller. This area is widely
cooled off by air conditioning to
provide good working
conditions.
Between the Engine Room and
the front part of this deck there is
a corridor providing storage for all
guests luggage.
Beauty
salon
Located on the
Under Lower Deck and with access
provided by the lift, is an area
dedicated to beauty as well as hair
dressing. It is definitely a great
bonus to have an area like this on
board.
